Danny Ford
Productions and IMPACT
forensic
is a company which officially opened for business
on September 1st, 2002.
Danny Ford has been involved in photography,
video, and sound engineering since 1987. He is
both Creative Director, and Projects Coordinator
for the company. It is his responsibility to bring
together a variety of extremely talented technicians
to deliver the high quality our diverse clientele
expects.
Danny's work history and experience have been quite extensive, and diverse. In the
ever-changing world of presentation technology, he has been employed as a field photographer/live remote
operations engineer for an NBC
news affiliate. He has been a member of the studio
production staff for the State of Hawaii, Department
of Education's highly acclaimed distant learning
Science program which is broadcast Statewide. The television program called Kidscience, educated young children through remote classroom technology. His experience in broadcast television was further expanded while working as a promotions editor for a FOX and UPN network affiliate station. Prior to working in broadcast television, Mr. Ford served in the United States Air Force. While in
the USAF, Danny was trained as both a still and video photographer. He worked in photo laboratories
printing and duplicating the original still
photo images he and his colleagues had taken in
the field. From celebrities, to sporting events,
to military exercises, to documenting high-ranking
government officials, Danny has lent his expertise
to the successful documentation of many special
events. He provided coverage for the Department of Defense during Hurricane Iniki which devistated the Island of Kauai. He also covered the 50th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. As the demand for better trained military personel increased, Danny's job duties and responsibilities increased. The Air Force sent him to Hollywood, California to recieve training in video technologies. When he returned to his post with his new trainging, his distinctive style of videography caught
the eye of his military supervisors. General Merill A. McPeak, Commander of Pacific Air Forces requested
Airman Ford as his on-call videographer. During Danny's tour of duty, General McPeak became Commander
of The Air Force. Danny was decorated with the National Defense and Outstanding Unit medels in addition to various other decorations. He served during Operation Desert Shield documenting troops as the mobilized and rotated from Kawait to Hawaii. His time
working in Air Force portrait studios, and military
and commercial photo labs was also
significant. After separating from the military he worked as a Federal Employee as a (PS-7) Loss and Theft Prevention Agent for the Navy Exchange in Pearl Harbor. He installed and programmed security camera systems as well as monitoring video systems, which ultimately assisted in the criminal prosecution of shop-lifters as well as employees who were embezzling from the company. He has worked in the broadcast communications
industry as a show
coordinator. He was responsible for
managing the logistics of large amounts of AV
equipment, as well as supervising and directing
crews of union and contract audio-visual technicians
for a company that provided the presentation equipment
for major conventions. As a sales
representative for two separate Broadcast
Communications equipment providers,
he gained extensive knowledge of current and upcoming
technologies in the audiovisual arena. His experience
in the field of documenting forensic evidence
began in 1990. While stationed
in Hawaii as a photographer he provided
photo and video support for military
investigations. He also provided
similar forensic documentation for a few Honolulu
based attorneys on a contract basis.
This was his first experience providing evidence
for use in civilian legal matters. His military
training in the correct methods of evidence documentation
was a valued asset for his clients. In 1999 Danny
began working full-time as the in-house Director
of Video Production for one of Dallas' most prestigious personal
injury law firms. It was this position
that gave him a creative edge in legal presentations.
Over the past twelve years, while supporting a staff of excellent attorneys
in a variety of litigation cases, his work was used to obtain successful resolutions
for the clients and their families.
His diversity has allowed him many opportunities
to meet and work with heads
of state, industry leaders, great
legal minds, celebrities, journalists, military
leaders, charitable
organizations, and families just
like his own.
